Weakley County Schools Quick Reference Guide
Fever. Temperature of 100.4 F or higher
Vomiting. Within the past 24 hours
Diarrhea. Within the past 24 hours
Lice. Per each school's policy
Eye Infection. Redness, itching, and/ or drainage from eye
Rash. Rash with oozing, drainage, and/or fever emergency room visit
Hospital Stay. Hospital stay and/or
I am ready to go back to school when I am...
Fever free without the assistance of medication for 24 hours (i.e., Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, etc.)
Free from vomiting
for 24 hours.
Free from diarrhea for 24 hours.
Treated with appropriate lice treatment at home.
Free from drainage and/or have been evaluated by my doctor if needed.
Free from rash or fever and have been evaluated by my doctor if needed.
Released by my medical provider to return to school.
It's okay to return to school if you have a runny nose and/or a small cough.
If a student has strep throat or another bacterial infection, the student should stay home until an antibiotic has been given for at least 24 hours and the health care provider has given permission to return to school. We encourage you to seek medical attention when sick and to follow your health care provider's recommendations about returning to school and other activities.

How It Works
First, call us. Let us know how many people are in your household. Names of recipients will be kept confidential. Next, there are 4 easy ways to get food from the pantry:
Pick up from the pantry location.
Pick up in the car line at the school.
Pick up directly from the school based on need.
Sent home with child(ren) on the school bus.
Only lightweight items will be sent with a child.
Foods We Supply
A food bag may contain pasta, sauce, rice, oats, cereal bars, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned chicken or fish, etc.
